A bohemian backyard shower for 120

Some showers are intimate. This one was a party. We took over a Reseda backyard for a hundred and twenty guests and gave it a chic bohemian look, then made sure a celebration that big still felt warm and personal at every single seat.

The signature moment

A shower built at wedding scale

This one was big. We designed a whole backyard for a hundred and twenty guests. Long wood farm tables under cream macramé-fringed umbrellas, cross-back chairs, woven placemats, green pressed-glass goblets, and eucalyptus running down the center of every table.

What we are proudest of is that a party that size still felt personal. We set the same place a hundred and twenty times over, terracotta plate, fringed napkin, printed menu, so every guest sat down to the same quiet detail.

How we fed a crowd

Three kitchens, one backyard

Feeding a hundred and twenty people is its own event. We brought in three caterers so nobody ran out and nobody got bored. There was an Argentinian spread, a Mexican station with all the fixings, and wood-fired homemade pizzas coming out of the oven all afternoon.

And because plenty of little ones came along, we set up a bounce house off to the side, so the kids had their own thing going while the grown-ups grazed and caught up.

A printed menu at every seat named all three kitchens, and Nona's wood-fired pizzas came out of the oven all afternoon.
