Where we celebrate

We are based in the San Fernando Valley, and the Valley is where most of the work in The Bubbly Files happened. Reseda, Northridge, Winnetka, Woodland Hills and Granada Hills. Those are the backyards we know best, and we would rather say so than claim every neighbourhood in the county equally.

The rest of Los Angeles County is a drive we make often. What changes from one area to the next is rarely the design. It is the setup. A gated property needs vendor names at the gate weeks ahead. A coastal garden needs everything tall weighted for the afternoon breeze. A courtyard needs the whole plan drawn to the metre.

That is why each of these pages talks about access, timing and weather as much as colour. The logistics are what decide whether an afternoon runs calmly, and they are the part most people find out about too late.
